Lifespan, the non-profit organization that oversees Miriam, Rhode Island, Newport and Hasbro Children's Hospitals, reported that over the course of Friday, Saturday and Sunday, they saw 649 storm related injuries.
Overall, the most storm-related injuries were reported on Friday, with 367 people admitted to the various hospitals due to frostbite, shovelling, slips and falls, motor vehicle accidents, heart attacks or "other snow-related injuries."
On Saturday, a total of 103 injuries were reported, and on Sunday, 179.
There were no snow blower accidents reported over the weekend.
