Rhode Island is the worst state to retire in or to, according to a new study by WalletHub.com.

WalletHub ranked the 50 states and Washington DC based on affordability, quality of life, and health care. Rhode Island ranked worst overall, ranking 51st in affordability, 45th in quality of life, and 36th in health care.

Vermont, Connecticut, Hawaii, and Washington DC rounded out the bottom 5.

The top 5 states to retire in or to were Florida, Wyoming, South Dakota, South Carolina, and Colorado.
