Three people have been charged in connection to the June 29 heist at a Federal Hill bank that netted thieves close to a half million dollars.

Tracey Delgado, 30 and Stanley Palmer, 42 were arrested Wednesday night at the Hampton Inn in Pawtucket, while Justine Fernandes, 37 had been held since her arrest early in July.

Court papers indicated that surveillance video showed Delgado, the operations manager at the Santander Bank branch on Atwells Avenue and Fernandes entered the vault, took an estimated $488,000, and fled, with Palmer driving the getaway car. Police responded to the bank just after 2:00 A.M.

In District Court in Providence Thursday, no pleas were entered by Delgado and Palmer to charges of breaking and entering, larceny and conspiracy. She was released on $10,000 surety bail, he was held on a probation violation from a previous charge. Both were ordered to surrender their passports, and not to trespass at the bank.

Newly released court records indicated that Fernandes was also charged in the heist soon after her arrest in early July.

Providence Police said they had recovered about $24,000 in a search of a storage unit, another $6,000 was recovered in the search of a Woonsocket home in early July, leaving more than $463,000 unaccounted for.
