Rep. David Cicilline (D- RI) flew back to Rhode Island hours after the controversial House vote on the American Health Care Act today on Capitol Hill. Rep. Cicilline stopped by the Dan Yorke Show to voice his strong opposition to the Republican sponsored bill, which passed 217-213 votes. Cicilline’s colleague, Rep Jim Langevin, also joined Dan to discuss his opposition to the bill. Listen to both conversations below.

Rep. Cicilline expressed his fundamental concern with hastily restructuring the Affordable Care Act. He voiced his concern over the millions of Americans that are projected to lose coverage in the first year of implementation.

The controversial bill now heads to the Senate.
