A second twin was arrested Thursday by Woonsocket Police in the January death of their father.

Police said Danielle Pamula, 38 was charged with domestic violence first degree murder of her father, Joseph Pamula, 70.

Her twin sister, Jennifer Pamula was arrested in January after their father was found in the kitchen of their Cato Street home with garden shears in his neck.

“It was a very disturbing scene, a very violent scene,” said Woonsocket Police Chief Thomas Oates. He said the two sisters’ stories did not add up.

“There were discrepancies in the interviews that we conducted with both the individuals that night,” Oates said. He added the sisters and their father argued over pets and their living arrangement.

At Danielle Pamula’s arraignment in District Court in Providence Friday, a prosecutor said she admitted to police that they had both taken part in the killing of their father.

Danielle Pamula was ordered held without bail, referred to a public defender, and a status conference was scheduled for April 7, according to court records.

Her twin, Jennifer Pamula has been held since her initial court appearance February 1. She was also ordered to undergo an evaluation to determine her competency to stand trial.
