Warwick Police are investigating after a bomb threat early Wednesday morning at Bishop Hendricken High School.
Police said around 6 am on Wednesday, someone working at the school found a note near the cafeteria that described a threat. Police found an unattended backpack and cleared out staff before ordering classes be canceled.
The backpack was later determined safe by the State Police and Fire Marshal, and officers searching the building with dogs found no other threats. Bishop Hendricken says school will be on for Thursday, but police still urge those with information to contact them.
