In a 5pm announcement on Thursday, Governor Raimondo urged Rhode Islanders to “stay off the roads” and to ensure they were properly prepared for severe winter weather.

Raimondo also noted to be aware of the potential for power outages and that “National Grid is more prepared” than they were during the mass outages this past October.
