The Connecticut State Police say they have a person in custody after they found the remains of 18-year-old Todd Allen who has been missing since the day after Christmas.
Kevin Weismore is charged with the murder of Allen and tampering of evidence. Weismore is being held on $1 million bond. Reports say Allen and Weismore went to the same high school.
Police say remains of Allen were found in a wooded area near Weismore’s home on Laiho Road in Sterling, Connecticut.
Allen left his Connecticut residence alone on a dirt bike, which did not have a headlight, and wasn’t seen again. A search began that included areas close to the Rhode Island border.
