The documents in a lawsuit related to the failed 38 Studios gaming company are set to be released by mid to late next week. A court clerk tells WPRO that there are thousands of pages of documents and all of the information will be released on the court’s website.
He says they will be receiving all the depositions by the end of business Friday and they are aiming to have all the documents and depositions by the end of the week.
During a hearing Friday, Judge Michael Silverstein said any documents that have not been submitted to the court can remain private, but he will hold a hearing if he receives a public records request. A court clerk says those documents are not in the court’s possession.
During a hearing that lasted an hour and a half, Attorneys for Wells Fargo argued to keep the documents to redact information.
Video game giant Electronic Arts had an attorney in the courtroom for a hearing to withhold information on the release. Judge Silverstein said he will make a decision on Thursday to make sure he does not put Electronic Arts at a video game at a competitive disadvantage.
