Late-night TV talk show host Conan O’Brien has launched a campaign to get former Rhode Island Governor and Presidential Candidate Lincoln Chafee to 1% in the polls. Touching on Chafee’s past as a farrier and his party affiliation switch as well as his embrace of the metric system, O’Brien enlisted singers Aimee Mann and Ted Leo to write an official campaign song for Chafee, as well. In response to the segment, Chafee tells WPRO, “I want to thank Conan for the attention!  He’s a good sport and I would definitely come on his show to help his ratings!” Watch the segment in full below:
