Former New England mob boss Luigi “Baby Shacks” Manocchio will be back in Rhode Island on house arrest.
Channel 12 reports the 87-year-old former mob boss is being moved to a half-way house but will eventually transfer to home confinement at his residence on Federal Hill.
Manocchio pleaded guilty in 2012 to charges he organized a shakedown ring focusing on Providence strip clubs, generating as much as $1.5 million for the mob. He was sentenced to 5 1/2 years in prison.
He will be fitted with an electronic monitoring device when he returns to the Capital City.
