Lite Rock 105 host Steve Donovan has pledged to visit every Dunkin Donuts location in Rhode Island in order to raise money for charity.

“Rhode Island has more Dunkin Donuts per capita than any place in the country.  And I am a recent transplant to Rhode Island; I’ve only been here one year, and I thought ‘what is that thing that I can do to quickly become more a Rhode Islander?’” said Donovan.

In return, Donovan said if he is able to visit all 183 locations by December 19, Dunkin Donuts will donate $3,000 to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

Donovan has named the challenge the Dunkathon and regularly updates the Lite Rock 105 Facebook page with photos of the different locations he visits.

He began the challenged on December 8.
