Candidates for Lieutenant Governor, Democrat Dan McKee and Republican Catherine Taylor, will face off in a debate with the WPRO Newsroom Tuesday night.
The candidates are scheduled to begin at 5:00pm and debate for an entire hour while moderated by WPRO’s Bill Haberman and Kim Kalunian.
McKee has been the Mayor of Cumberland since 2004 and won a come-from-behind primary victory over opponent Ralph Mollis back in September; while Taylor has served as the Director of Elderly Affairs since 2011 and garnered lots of big union support since her nomination last month.
According to a recent poll by WPRI and the Providence Journal, McKee leads Taylor 36% to 27%, however one in three voters are still undecided.
The debate can be heard starting at 5:oopm on-air and online at 630wpro.com
