WEATHER: RI, MA under Blizzard Warning until 1 p.m.

Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts are under a blizzard warning until 1 p.m. Saturday, with snowfall coming to an end from west to east throughout the day.

The storm dumped heavy snow onto Rhode Island, leaving up to two feet in some areas.

Wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour coupled with heavy snowfall of up to 3 inches per hour took down power lines and tress, causing outages and making travel nearly impossible.

Current temperature is 22 degrees in Providence.
