Escaped child molester Robert Spaulding has been captured.
According to Rhode Island State Police, Tuesday afternoon around 1:00, members of the Rhode Island State Police Violent Task Force arrested 34-year-old Spaulding without incident.
The suspect was awaiting trial on first degree child molestation charges and two counts of being in violation of the sex offender notification of change of address. At the time of his escape, Spaulding was in home confinement and monitored by an electronic bracelet.
