Congressman David Cicilline is hosting a press conference in Washington D.C. on Tuesday along with the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, and family members who lost loved ones in mass shootings.

At the press conference victims will read a letter signed by the families who lost loved ones in recent mass shootings. The letter will then be delivered to the Whitehouse and members of congress.

Cicilline will be joined by Brady Campaign President Dan Gross whose brother survived the Empire State building shooting in 1997.

The Brady Campaign advocates for stricter gun control specifically by requiring criminal background checks on all gun sales, banning assault weapons, and limiting the number of guns that can be purchased at one time.
